Salmon Lake Campground is a great local campground, and nice hiking is available along the Pyramid Pass Trail.

Lost Horse Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at, and if you came to camp Placid Lake Campground is a brilliant location to do that. Lost Prairie Creek is a stream that you may bump into while you’re here.

There’s so much to do here at Salmon Lake State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Big Larch Campground is a splendid place for that. Salmon Lake State Park has a wealth of natural splendor, it’s a place that is popular with people from far and near.

Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it’s for you then we recommend Blackfoot River, and you can stay the night at Seeley Lake Resort and RV Park. Salmon Lake State Park is a location that is relatively dry typically; most of the snow falls during January, and July on the other hand is the driest.
